If you are coming to Atlantic Technical Center as an official exchange student then most of the information on this site is relevant to you. This web page is directed at those who are going to a country where the local dialect is not their first language, however, if you are going to a country where you are already fluent, this web page can still be useful for you.

One of the main reasons that most young people decide to go off to school is so that they can experience what it's like to live on their own and to have new experiences without a parent hovering around them. Quite often, however, these same students will balk at the idea of being an exchange student, worried that if they go to a foreign land, they won't know how to get around and will look, and feel, like tourists constantly.
